FAQ – FreshVault Vacuum Seal Containers

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does the vacuum pump work with any container?

The FreshVault pump works with all FreshVault containers. The silicone valve is standardized across all sizes.

Q: How long does the battery last?

The 2000mAh battery lasts approximately 200 seals per charge. For average use (3-4 seals/day), that's about 6-8 weeks between charges.

Q: Are the containers really leakproof?

Yes. 4 locking tabs + a full silicone gasket seal. You can turn them sideways or upside down — zero leaks.

Q: Can I put them in the dishwasher?

Glass containers: yes (all racks including bottom). Lids: top rack only or hand wash recommended to preserve the silicone seal.

Q: What about the microwave / oven / freezer?

Glass containers are oven-safe to 450°F, microwave-safe, and freezer-safe. Always remove the lid before heating. Do not heat the vacuum pump.

Q: Is the glass really borosilicate?

Yes. Borosilicate glass is thermal-shock resistant — you can go from freezer to oven safely. It won't stain, warp, or absorb odors like plastic containers.

Q: How does the date dial work?

Each lid has a built-in rotary dial with month and day markings. Rotate to the date you stored the food — no more guessing or sniff tests.

Q: What's your return policy?

60-day no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied, we'll refund 100% of your purchase. No restocking fees, no hassle.

Q: How long does shipping take?

Free standard shipping (5-7 business days) to all contiguous US states. Express shipping available at checkout.

Q: Can I buy individual containers or just the pump?

Yes! Individual containers and the vacuum pump are available as separate add-ons in our store.
